I've always been drawn to art in all forms. Throughout my early years in life, I  pursued acting and musical theatre in my community. I went on to study cinematic arts at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and solely focused on improving my technical audio-visual skills. However I struggled with severe undiagnosed mental health issues and used drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism. I entered my first substance abuse treatment program days after graduating high school, and continued to battle with addiction for several years. Experiences with homelessness, institutional living, overdose, and drug dependence shaped my worldview and provided me insights to worlds with which I was previously unfamiliar. I now believe that these events were integral to creating my story. In late 2021, I entered a transitional living facility for the last time. I have stayed sober since and early in my recovery journey, I rediscovered my love for digital art forms. For over two years, I have been honing my craft by creating visuals for businesses and individuals who have a story to tell in some form or another.

 Along my journey through addiction and recovery, it was the stories of those brave enough to share that gave me hope. Today I believe that it is part of my purpose to tell my story and help others to tell theirs.
